The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS) organized a specialized training virtual workshop titled “Practical Strategies to Minimize Water and Energy Use in Academic Settings” on 22 December 2025.

This workshop was conducted as part of the faculty’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable practices and supporting the university’s green development initiatives.

During the session, students were introduced to practical, behavior-based strategies for reducing water and electricity consumption in offices, classrooms, and shared facilities. Key topics included optimizing daily energy use, managing water responsibly, and fostering environmentally conscious habits among academic and administrative staff.
