Attendance and Classroom Conduct

  1. Regular attendance is mandatory and constitutes an essential component of course assessment.
  2. Every three late arrivals (under 10 minutes) count as one full absence.
  3. Maximum permitted absences:
    • Persian course (42 sessions): up to 6 absences

  4. Exceeding the allowed number of absences results in withdrawal from the course without tuition refund.
  5. Excused absences are accepted only with valid medical documentation.

Course Assessment

  1. Final grades are calculated on a 20-point scale as follows:
    • 8 points: class participation, activity, and attendance
    • 12 points: end-of-term examination
  2. Minimum passing score: 12 out of 20
  3. Outstanding and highly engaged students receive official recognition from the College.

Examinations

  1. Attendance at the end-of-term exam is compulsory.
  2. Arriving more than 20 minutes late results in disqualification from the exam.
  3. Unexcused absence from the exam results in course withdrawal and requires full repayment of tuition to retake the course.
  4. Exceptional medical circumstances may be reviewed upon submission of official documentation.
  5. In the event of failure, students may retake the exam by paying the required fee or attend private remedial classes in accordance with College regulations.

Persian Language Proficiency Examination
