About
Founded in July 1995, the School of Health has grown into a dynamic institution dedicated to advancing public health education and research. The school began with undergraduate programs in Environmental Health, Occupational Health, and Public Health, and quickly expanded to include Statistics and Epidemiology.
A commitment to providing comprehensive health education led to the introduction of the Health Services Management bachelor’s program in 2003, followed by the launch of the Medical Entomology professional program in 2004. By 2007, both Health Services Management and Medical Entomology were established as independent departments within the school.
Continuing the tradition of academic excellence, the first master’s students in Environmental Health Engineering and Occupational Health were welcomed in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Ph.D. and master’s programs in Environmental Health Engineering and Health Education were introduced.
Today, the School of Health is home to approximately 47 distinguished faculty members and around 700 students, all working together to shape the future of public health.
