Installation of Visual Reminder Labels to Promote Water and Energy Conservation at the School of Nursing & Midwifery

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management, the School of Nursing & Midwifery has installed visual reminder labels across campus facilities to encourage water and electricity conservation.

The newly designed symbolic icons have been placed near water taps and light switches to serve as subtle yet effective visual cues for students, faculty members, and staff. These icons are intentionally text-free and universally understandable, reinforcing responsible behavior without disrupting the visual environment.

This initiative aims to promote mindful use of natural resources by encouraging individuals to turn off taps properly, avoid water wastage, switch off unnecessary lights, and reduce energy consumption in daily academic activities.

By integrating simple environmental reminders into everyday spaces, the School continues to advance a culture of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and public health awareness within the academic community.
