AJUMS Welcomes New International Students
In December 2024, Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS) had the privilege of hosting an orientation session for our newly admitted international students. This session was held with the participation of the AJUMS Office of International Affairs team and covered essential topics to help students navigate their academic journey and life in Ahvaz.
Key Highlights from the Orientation Session:
• Welcome Message & Congratulations Dr. Biparva, Director of the AJUMS Office of International Affairs, kicked off the session with a warm welcome and shared insights about the opportunities and support available at AJUMS.
• Student, Consular & Dormitory Affairs Prof. Faraji discussed the key services offered to students, including consular support and dormitory arrangements.
• Participation in International Events Dr. Ghafouri highlighted the various international events and exchange programs that students can engage in during their time at AJUMS.
• Educational Affairs & Language Development Dr. Tazik explained the academic structure and language development programs available to help students succeed.
• AJUMSIA Journal & International Collaborations Dr. Tahmasebi talked about the AJUMSIA Journal and the university’s commitment to international collaborations in research and academia.
• General Precautions in Ahvaz & AJUMS Mr. Ivaz provided important information on safety, local regulations, and health precautions to ensure a secure stay in Ahvaz.
• Arabic Translation Support Ms. Mayyah introduced the Arabic translation services available to assist students in navigating their studies and daily life.
