Introduction of the Research Centers
The Hearing Research Center (HRC) of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS), founded in 2023, consists of a dedicated group of scientists, physicians and staff working on basic and clinical aspects of hearing and balance.
The specific goals of the HRC are
- To advance scientific knowledge of the development, function and pathology of hearing and balance systems
- To made up of a diverse community of experts, from early- and mid-career researchers through to leaders in the hearing science
- To collaborative research and teaching activities among faculty and staff within the hearing science community at AJUMS
- To educate the general public about hearing health and the benefits of biomedical research
